Busy x10!

You guys, I've been so busy lately! I've filled a bunch of orders, made new products, made some treasuries AND had some time to do "real work." Oh yeah, and kind of relax a little in there too. (Sometimes.)

And a great new treasury featuring some really COLORFUL items. Black is boring. (Even though I wear it all the time) I like to spice it up with big splashes of color. Speaking of that, I'm about to start knitting a mustard yellow scarf. Hurrah!

Mermaids

I just finished reading MOONGLASS by Jessi Kirby

So it seemed appropirate that I make a mermaid and sea-glass themed treasury for this week's nonteam challenge. Mermaids are so hot right now.... they are totes the new vampire. (I don't know what I'm talking about, don't quote me on that, but actually I do really like mermaids and it does seem like there are a lot of mermaid books out there right now. Moonglass is not REALLY "a mermaid book," it's contemporary realistic YA but it has some mermaid imagery and metaphors in it and the majority of the book takes place on the beach. I do think the character would really like this treasury though, and I made it with her in mind.)

Creepy Part Trois

And AGAIN. I'm creepy. I've finally listed one of my creep-tastic pictures on Etsy so you other creepy folks can potentially purchase it and hang it up in your homes. You know, if you're weird like me and love those freaky abandoned buildings. See my old posts where I questioned my creepiness here: "Am I creepy?" and "Creepy Part Deux"

This one was also shot in the abandoned building in Buffalo, New York. Ain't she lovely?

Happy Friday, yah'll. Time for me to go blow off some steam and go for a run because I have my first ever 5K run/"race" in a week. I'm just hoping to finish and that may not happen if I don't go out there and "train" right now. I say "train" because I run at the same speed an old lady walks while my boyfriend is the biggest superstar runner of all time. But that's for a later discussion.  *Sigh*

Fabulous Fall

It is cold and rainy and just BLAH outside in Boston today. And it has been for the past few days. I'm lacking motivation to go outside. I made this fabulous fall treasury for our Nonteam challenge today. Orange + Blue, one of my favorite autumn color combos. Now the rain just needs to go away so I can go outside and enjoy autumn already! Go away, rain! xoxo, Jillian
